One common problem on every E46 Coupe, E46 M3 Coupe, and Convertible is the weakening or cracking of the sheet-metal mounting points for the rear subframe. Over time, wear on the rear subframe’s chassis will cause the sheet metal to crack and tear, negatively impacting handling and power delivery, alignment specs, and overall driving safety.

By welding reinforcement plates onto the sheet metal, the load is distributed over a larger surface area, thus preventing future failure. This is highly recommended as preventive maintenance for all E46 cars.

Please Note: This service requires your car to be at our facility for a minimum of 3‑5 days, depending on the condition. A necessary inspection must be performed to determine its condition before service. Any repair of additional damage is an added cost.
